About Us

The East Valley JCC Day School is a non-profit private school for children in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Preschool and Infant Care are available through our affiliation with the Barness Family East Valley JCC. We recognize diverse forms of Jewish practice and welcome students of varying levels of religious observance.

The curriculum combines meaningful Jewish studies with an outstanding secular education. The academic program is strong, and one of the best in the East Valley. Our students consistently score over 70% on Stanford 9 and 10.

We value the whole child, and foster academic, social, emotional, religious, and spiritual growth, while instilling Jewish ideas and values. Jewish values are integrated in all aspects of learning. Students learn as they participate in the classroom, celebrate holidays and experience field trips.

Our students benefit from small class sizes and individualized attention. We recognize and nurture the talents and qualities of each child, and encourage individual independence and group cooperation, respect for others, and Jewish values in daily life.

Day School Committee

Our dedicated parents and teachers meet monthly to brainstorm ideas for continual success. Topics of discussion usually include: fund raising, budgeting, marketing, and special social functions.

All parents are encouraged to participate in the committee. Monthly meetings are announced in fliers sent home with the children, as well as posted on the Calendar.

School Hours

School hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. daily. Before and After care are available starting at 7:00 a.m. ending at 6:00 p.m. Please check the Calendar for early closure times and holidays.
